Why Toronto Patients Choose Anatomy-Led Eyelid Surgery at EyeFACE

Blepharoplasty is common, but technique and planning vary significantly. Outcomes that look natural rather than operated-on typically depend on specialized oculoplastic training, precise technique, and tailoring to each patient's anatomy.

At EyeFACE, every blepharoplasty is planned from anatomical assessment — not from a standard protocol. Upper OFA-Bleph™ addresses excess skin, levator function, crease design, ligament release, and whether orbital fat should be preserved or transposed to support the eyelid-brow junction. Lower eyelid surgery, using fat transposition rather than removal, addresses under-eye bags, tear trough hollowing, and the shadowing that can read as dark circles. Four-eyelid surgery combines both for comprehensive periorbital rejuvenation.

Dr. Harmeet Gill has performed 5,000+ cosmetic eyelid and endoscopic facial procedures. He is fellowship-trained through ASOPRS, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery / The Oculofacial Society, Assistant Professor, DOVS, University of Toronto, and a Sunnybrook surgeon. Eyelid and oculofacial surgery are central to his practice.

Procedures & Guides

OFA-Bleph™

EyeFACE's signature blepharoplasty approach. Upper and lower eyelid surgery are planned around preservation, release, support, and fat transposition rather than a reduction-only mindset.

OHIP Coverage

Upper eyelid surgery may be functional, cosmetic, or both. OHIP may cover documented visual field obstruction after pre-approval; cosmetic goals such as symmetry, folds, creases, shadows, and fat-pad refinement are planned separately.

Sedation Planning

Functional upper blepharoplasty can often be performed with local anesthesia and oral sedation. Cosmetic and combined procedures are planned with the sedation support appropriate to the case.
